RIVER EXCURSION AND PICNIC.
The local Friendly Societies have planned a most enjoyable upriver steamer trip and picnic at Paiaka on Easter Monday. Should the weather prove fine a most enjoyable outing is anticipated. The river steamers will leave the wharf at 8.30 a.m., returning at 5 p.m. Amusements will be provided for young and old, and every precaution will be taken for the safety of all.
