PERSONAL.
The Dunedin Star states that Mr F. O’B. Loughnan, solicitor, of Palmerston North, has been appointed a Stipendiary Magistrate. Mr Loughnan was until about four years ago a member of the firm of Morison and Loughnan, solicitors, of Wellington. He afterwards went to Waipawa, and eighteen months ago came to Palmerston North, where he has been in practice since. He is a brother of the Hon. R. A. Loughnan, M.L.C., of Wellington, and of Mr C. A. Loughnan, solicitor, also of Palmerston.
