DROWNING FATALITY.
Wellington, Yesterday,
Mr Clifford Dawson, second son of the Rev. John Dawson, who has just retired from the pastorate of the Webb Street Primitive Methodist Church, went up to Auckland about a fortnight ago on a holiday trip. Last night the sad news reached his parents that he had been drowned while bathing at Shelly Beach, Ponsonby. He was about nineteen years of age, and was employed as an assistant at Mr G. Winder’s ironmongery establisnment
