A rep. team was to have travelled to Levin on Saturday to play the representatives from the Horowhenua Association, but owing to the wet weather several of the players did not put in an appearance, and after waiting for over an hour only six had turned up. Rather than disappoint the Horowhentia players it was decided to make the trip. One substitute was picked up on the road and on arriving at Levin three others were induced to join the Foxton “ representatives.”
Horowheuaa mustered nine and with the help of substitutes were able to put a full team in the field.
