FOXTON’S NEW POST OFFICE.

Tender Being Accepted.

Certain rumours have been afloat respecting the erection of the new Post Office. Townspeople have waited so long for the new building that their faith was beginning to wane, and even after tenders were called certain wise men predicted that the calling of tenders was merely a blind. All fears, however, may now be set at rest. In reply to a communication forwarded, the Under-Secretary for Public Works states that the tender of Messrs A. Cooper and Sou, of Wellington, is being accepted for the proposed new Post Office at Foxton.
