ROWING CLUB BAZAAR.
To-night.
The above bazaar still continues to attract large crowds at the Public Hall every evening. All stallholders report very favourably on the good business transacted. The fancy dances are most fascinating, and much appreciation was shown last night for Miss McGuire’s perfect rendition of her two songs, both of which received encores ; Miss Spelman acted as accompanist. Mrs Gower won the ladies’ naildriving competition very creditably ; a number of articles have been raffled each evening, the results of which will appear in our next issue, together with a full report of to-night’s proceedings. This is the last night of the bazaar and an auction sale will be held in order to effect a complete clearance of everything, and the usual bumper house is anticipated.
