AUCTION REPORT.
Percy M. Page reports a good attendance of buyers at the Mart on Saturday last, when a further sale of drapery etc., was held on account of Mr Darcy Ford, every line submitted being sols at satisfactory prices. Produce was also in good demand and good business was done at the following rates: —Table potatoes, 7s 6d; Up-to-date seed potatoes, 8s 6d ; onions, 12s, (all per cwt); oats, 3s 3d; wheat, 5s 3d ; partridge peas, 4s qd, (all per bushel) ; oaten chaff, 5s 6d; carrots, ss; parsnips, 6s, (all per sack) ; cabbage plants, is 6d per 100; lettuce, to 2d each; fowls, 2s qd per pair; other lines at last week’s rates.
