BOWLING CLUB.

The promoters of the local bowling club are making steady progress in reference to the formation of the club. It has been decided to obtain a guarantee of each from 20 citizens, and canvass for a membership of 50. When this objective has been reached, the ground under offer, an acre in area, will be purchased, and the green laid down and a pavilion erected. It is hoped that the green will be playable by February next.
