HOCKEY.
Foxton v. Moutoa.
This match was played on the local ground yesterday afternoon, and after a hard fought game resulted in a win for Foxton by four goals to nil. The play was fast and furious from beginning tc end, both teams showing very good form. Foxton’swin was certainly due to their combination, which, considering the very few times they have played together, was excellent. Goals were scored by Gordon (2), Lovett, and Fowler. The return match will be played at Moutoa next Wednesday.
