Auction Report. Mr Percy M. Page reports a fair attendance at Saturday’s sale, when several lines of furniture, wall paper, sundries, and produce realised fair prices. The whole of the 1000 rolls of wall paper was not disposed of, but a large number of pieces have been sold privately. On Saturday next the balance on hand will again be submitted to auction. Brisk business has been done in potatoes and produce during the week at th; following prices ;—Potatoes, 7s 6d ; pumpkins, 8s ; swedes, 4s 6d ; carrots, 5s per sack parsnips, 4s 6d, onions 10s, (smaller quantities 81b is); leeks, id bundle ; lettuce, r}4d each ; oats, 3s gd ; wheat, 5s lod ; pollard, 9s fid ; bran, 8s fid ; cooking apples, 8s fid per case; (smaller quantities, 3d per lb).
