Dunedin, May 5. Dr Chappie, of Wellington, and Mr A. Fraser, of Lawrence, are definitely announced as candidates for the Tuapeka seat. Mr Fraser contested the seat in 1599. It is understood that Mr H. D. Bedford, who contested Dunedin North seat at the last election, will be a candidate for Taieri in the Government interest at the general election.
