Debaters v. Foxton.
The victorious career of the Foxton Cricket Club was summarily checked yesterday allernoon when they were defeated by the Debaters. The result of this match does not affect Foxton’s position for the shield. For the Debaters, Woods showed some of his true form, making 22 and 36, and in the second innings, the Rev. Southern 26 and Dunn 24 displayed good cricket. Following are the scores :
