TENNIS.
The Wellington Provincial Lawn Tennis Association has fixed the 25th inst. as the date on which Foxton are to meet Taoinui at Foxton. The following members have been chosen to play for Foxton, and are requested to practice : Gents’ singles —Messrs Macdonald, Gordon, Phillips, Bainbridge, Ross, and Fraser; ladies’ singles—Misses Collins, Wanklyn, M. Austin, and O. Fraser ; gents’ doubles —Messrs Macdonald and Gordon, Phillips and Bainbridge ; ladies’ doubles —Misses Collins and Wanklyn, M. Austin and O. Fraser ; combined doubles —Mr Macdonald and Miss Wanklyn, Mr Gordon and Miss Collins.
