FOXTON EXCITEMENT.
Last Two Days. The extraordinary excitement at the Masonic Hall, caused by the auction of drapery, is still at its hight. The public cannot understand how it is possible for any firm to sell high-class goods at the prided realised in the Hall daily. AIT goods go at the public’s own prices, and not a single line is passed in. To-morrow and Saturday are the two last days, ofsale, and residents, both in town and country should make a special effort to attend. The lines offered comprise general drapery, toilet sets, tea sets, general crockery, cutlery, hearth rugs, nine and eighteen carat gold rings (hall marked), boots, and suddry other lines- The cost of living is high, and if 50 per cent, can be saved on everyday lines of drapery and other household necessities, then it is the -clear duty of the public to encourage such unresefVed sales as that now . proceeding, in the Masonic ' Hall.'' tomorrow and the last days of the sale, p.m. ■each dS,y. -.pdbcU may bought privately from ,9.30 in thfe mornings.— Advt.., ' *.K:-
