RATING ON THE UNIMPROVED VALUE.

Mr A. W. Hogg, M.H.R. for Masterton, has consented to address a public meeting in the local Masonic Hall, next Thursday night, 10th inst., at eight o’clock, on the subject of Rating on Unimproved Value. He will be introduced by Mr John Stevens, member for the district, and His Worship the Mayor will preside. It has been urged time and again that this equitable system of ratingshould be introduced in Foxton and opponents of the system should make a point of being present in order to hear the whole matter lucidly explained by one of the best authorities on the question in the Dominion. Ladies are specially invited to attend, and seats will be reserved for them.
