MASONIC.
The installation of Bro. C. B. Easther as W. M. of Eodge Horowhenua and investiture of officers took place at Devin last night. Visiting brethren were present from Palmerston, Wellington, Foxton, Otaki and elsewhere. R. W. Bro. R. Fletcher, Grand Superintendent, officiated as Installing Master, and Wor. Bro. J. A. Nash, Master of Ceremonies. The following officers were installed : —W. M. Bro., Easther ; J.PM., Wor. Bro. Mclntyre ; S-W., Bro. Kennedy ; J.W., Bro. Jones; Secretary Wor. Bro v Roe ; Treasurer, Bro Douglas ; \ Chaplain, Bro Walker; S.D., Bro. pHankins ; J. D. Bro. Eggleton ; I. G. Bro. Whitaker; Tyler, Bro. Malcolm. After the ceremony had been completed, an adjournment was made to the banquetting hall, where the usual toasts were honoured, interspersed with songs and recitations.
