MONTE CARLO TRAGEDY.

Monte Carlo, September 19, After a witness had testified that the Goolds had invited their victim (Mrs Levin) to tea, Goold retracted his former story, and confessed that his wife held Mrs Levin’s wrists while he stabbed her. Mrs Goold ejaculated, “This man is mad, and does not know what he is saying !” Being further questioned, Mrs Goold sobbingly admitted that she helped to cut the body up and pack the pieces in a trunk. She denied participation in the murder.
