FOXTON CRICKET CLUB.
Adjourned Meeting. The adjoined annual meeting of the above was held in Whyte’s Hotel last night, Mr Wanklyn was voted to the chair. The balance-sheet was adopted and disclosed a credit of 8s 6d with which to start the season. Officers were elected as follow : Patron, F. W. Frankland Esq; President, W. S. Stewart Esq; Vice-Presidents, Messrs W. J. White, O. Robinson, S. Hickson, T, Rimmer, O, Austin, A. E. Shadbolt ; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr W. S. Stewart; Captain, Mr Redgrave ; Vice-Captain, Mr W. Nye; Committee, Messrs Martin, Robinson, Gardner, Wanklyn, Reade; delegates to Association, Messrs Wanklyn and W. Nye; Selection Committee, Captian, Vice-Captain and T. Wanklyn. Subscriptions were fixed the same as last year, viz., adults ss, under 18 years, 2s 6d, school boys free. Messrs P. Robinson, S. Wanklyn, Ashmore and S. Ennis, were elected new members. Votes of thanks to the outgoing officers and to the chair and Mr Whyte, concluded the meeting.
