Morocco, September 18. It is reported that the Sultan of Morocco (Abdul Aziz) and his half-brother, Midi Hofed, who was proclaimed Sultan in the south, have agreed upon a division of power. Muli Hofed will visit the French commander, General Drude, at Casablanca. Paris, September 18. After many conferences the French Winegrowers’ Federation formed in Bezeirs, in the Departments of Herault, and representing the Departments of Audeherault and other districts, will fix the prices and conditions of sale of southern wines. It is hoped this will lead to a solution of the crisis recently caused in the southern districts, leading to riots in several towns, through adulterated wines coming into competition with the locally-made article. The inhabitants of Eshowe, a district in Zululaud, alarmed at the attitude of the natives, have made a request to the Natal Government for Imperial troops to protect them. London, September 18.
