INVERCARGILL TRAGEDY.
Invercargill, September 5. The latest from Riverton is that Reed and Miss Gibbons, the principal parties in the _ Nightcaps sensation, are both semi-conscious. The bullet was extracted from Miss Gibbons, thigh to-day, and she is doing the better of the two. The police are standing by to motor out and take depositions if sent for to-night.
