THE QUIRINDI MURDER.
Sydney, August 8. Tofft (arrested for the murder of the girl Fletcher at Quirindi) states that on the night of the crime he came to town to give himself up, but fled because he was frightened. He admits the crime, which, he says, he committed while under the influence of drink.
