ATTACKS ON WOMEN.
New York, August 7
There have been seven more assaults on young girls and women in New York.
Several arrests have been made, mostly of Italians. One victim defended herself with a hat-pin, and the ruffian who assaulted her was The Federated Labour Union asks the Mayor of New York to adopt stringent measures, otherwise it will ask the State Governor to order the enrolment of ten thousand special detectives.
