KELLY GANG COMING.
Public Hall, Foxton.
At the Public Hall on Wednesday evening next, July 31st, by arrangement with Messrs' J. and N. Tait, a biograph picture will be exhibited of the doings of the “ Kelly Gang ” of bushrangers who terrorised Victoria in the late “seventies.” Great expense has been entailed in the production of this film, it is'over 4000 ft, in length, and cost the Messrs Tait over to produce. Whereever it has been shown throughout Australia and New Zealand, its realism has been such that the audiences were completely carried away, more especially in the scene where Kate Kelly is being pursued down the ranges by the police, the brave attempt at rescue in the burning hotel by the Rev. Father Gibney, the attempted wrecking of the police train with the pilot engine in advance, the robbing of the Euroa band, the sticking up of Younghusband’s station, the murder of the police in the Wombat Ranges, the murder ofArron Sherritt, etc. The whole film is historically correct, and gives the audience a view ot the bush and mountainous scenery where all these stirring events occurred. In addition to the above, a number of the latest comic, chaste, and descriptive films will be presented. The pictures can only be given the one representation in Foxton. The box plans are now open at Mr J. T. Eevett’s Book Arcade.
