FOXTON BUILDING SOCIETY.

A meeting of the Directors of Foxton Co-operative Building Society was held in the Secretary’s office on Tuesday evening at 5 30 p.m. Present Messrs Morgan (chair), Ross, Stiles, Moore, and the Secretary.

Proposed by the Chairman, seconded by Mr Stiles, That shareholders be notified by advertisement in the local paper on Thursday and Saturday, the ist and 3rd of August, that the first pay night is to be Saturday, the 3rd August. —Carried.

Accounts as read were passed for payment. It was decided that the Directors meet again on Monday, the sth August. The Secretary was authorised to inspect the books of the Palmerston Building Society with a view of getting an insight into the methods adopted.
