CATHOLIC MISSION.
A mission was opened at u a.m. on Sunday last in the local Roman Catholic Church, by Father Creagh, and will be continued for week. Services will be conducted each day from 7 to 8 a.m., 9to 10 a.m., and 7to 8 p.m. The mission was to have been conducted by Father Row ham, but unforseen circumstances prevented this. We understand that Foxton is the first place in New Zealand that Father Creagh has officiated in, he having recently arrived from Australia. He is an eloquent and earnest preacher. All the services are being well attended.
