MANAWATU DAIRY SHOW.
i? Some idea of the magnitude of the Dairy Show to be held at Palmerston North on June 18, ig, 20, and 21st is emphasised by the amount of space occupied by the building required to prqvive cover for the comprehensive nature of the exhibits. These buildings cover some acres of land. The Dairy Show is unique in many respects and is essentially a special service exhibition for the dairy worker, the man who stands by the cow, the grower of farm roots, seeds, orchard products, and the poultryman whether a breeder, exhibitor, or the person who just wants a few eggs. This show equipment is backed up by the Department of Agriculture’s experts for Dairying, Stock, and Horticulture, and the Conference Convention of the National Dairy Association of N.Z. Ltd., the N.Z. Factory Butter and Cheese Makers’ Association and the N.Z. Institute of Dairy Secretaries, besides many other experts in attendance representing the exhibitors in working machinery andd airy specialities. To be able to draw upon such a source of high authority, information furnished by those people is certainly an exceptionally valuable advantage to those on the land and emphasises the completeness of the Dairy Show organisation. Intending exhibitors in the competitive classes should note that all entries close on June 4th, Tuesday next, with the Secretary, Mr J. C. Lane, Palmerston North.
