HOCKEY.
At the request of a number of ladies of the towu, the local club have decided to accept lady members at a subscription of five shillings each, the club to supply sticks. As a lady’s team has been formed at Moutoa, and are anxious for a match with a local team, the committee would ask all ladies who intend joining to hand in their names as soon as possible to the secretary, so that a team may be picked and coached.
