THE AUCTION DRAPERY SLAUGHTER.

Masonic Hail.

That section of the Foxton public that has already visited the Masonic Hall to inspect the goods the Manufacturer Direct Importing Co. is selling by Auction this afternoon and Monday and Tuesday next, has been simply astonished at the first class quality of the goods. Usually, iu fact practically always, the drapery sold by auction is cheap shop worn goods or job warehouse stuff, just offered to clear expenses. The goods now being offered in the Masonic Hall are fresh and directly imported from the British manufactureres and Company urgently and confidently invite the public to inspect the goods either to-night or Monday and Tuesday forenoon. The goods will bear inspection and the Company challenges that inspection. It is. intended to establish periodical sales in Foxton and the Company recognise, fully, that it would simply kill. all business to supply other than firstclass goods. Those needing ■ firstclass drapery, including suitlengths, all wool dress material, rugs, blankets, hearth rugs, 21 and 40 piece tea Jugs, todet _sg(s., choice Nottingham lace' curtains etc., should not miss this sale. It will prove a veritable savings bank. The rule at the Company’s Sales is that any goods bought and found to be damaged t or soiled after purchase are to be brought back and the purchase money will be returned. This safeguards the public and is the best possible proof that the Company wishes to do straight legitimate business. Don’t forget that the sale continues on Monday and Tuesday next at 1 p.m. each day.*
