Electric Handicap.— Toa Tuhi 1, Motoa 2, Gauze 3. The start was of the straggling order. A. Oliver got the Foxtou-owued Toa Tuhi (a winner at Hawke’s Bay meeting) smartly away, and he was never headed. Gauze also got smartly off the mark, but was beaten by Motoa,. also trained at Foxton, for second place. Both winner and runner-up were sired by Conqueror. Waicola, a stablemate of Motoa, filled fourth place. Jenkins’s mount, Gauze, was favourite, Idealsit (BirkenheadIdeal) being next best fancied. Divs., £7 and £6 ns.
