MONSTER DRAPERY SALE.

We remind the public, of the monster drapery sale in the Masonic Hall, which begins on Saturday next at 1 p.m., and will continue Monday and Tuesday following. The company draws special attention to their method of conducting the sale. Every article for which a bid is taken will be knocked down to the highest bidder, no matter whether the article reaches the cost price or not. The company has just completed a fortnight’s sale in Feilding and Palmerston, where big business was done and not a single line passed in during the sales. The fact that all goods are new and fresh from the English and of first grade gives great satisfaction to buyers. The company states that all-wool dress goods, blankets, rugs and quilts reach buyers at prices that “stagger humanity,” and that the length, width, design, quality and prices of the Nottingham lace curtains will prove a revelation to the public. On Monday afternoon the company intend to offer the 9-carat and x 8-carat gold rings, every one of which is English hall-marked and guaranteed to stand the acid test. Every ring is genuine. This sale will no doubt establish a record for Foxton. Those about to furnish, or intending refurnishers, should not miss attending.
