PERRY’S DIORAMA CO.
To-night. Of the making of books there is no end says the prophet, and of the making of motion pictures there is no limit says the people, and as long as the pictures are new and good the public will respond. The present tour of Perry’s company has proved a huge success, due to the fact that it is the aim of the management to be up to date in every detail. The pictures were personally selected by Mr Perry and, he assures ns he has a very line collection of new film. A feature picture will show one of the storm}'’ meetings of the women suffragettes in London, it is a genuine picture, taken on the spot, and proves very interesting. A number of sensational pictures will also be seen, and in the comic section some screamers are promised. Then there is Jennie Purchase, who is said to be quite exceptional to the ordinary child entertainer, and the Brady sisters, Ena Willmott, Harry Laird and Lottie Verne, the whole making a programme of much amusement. The company were in Palmerston last night, where they showed to a record house, the press notices being exceptional. They arrive here to-day, and should open to a packed house. There are a few reserved seats left at Levett’s.
