FOXTON CO-OPERATIVE BUILDING SOCIETY.
A meeting of shareholders of the above was held in Mr Perreau’s rooms last night. Dr Mandl was voted to the chair. It was reported that sufficient shares had been taken up to start operations. It was resolved on the motion of Mr Frankland that the number of directors at present be limited to five. The provisional directors were Dr Mandl, Messrs Hennessy, J. Hornblow, Hamer, Moore, Morgan, J. Symons and Frankland. Dr Mandl and Mr Hornblow asked that their names be withdrawn and the following gentlemen were unanimously elected as the Board of Directors: Messrs Hennessy, Frankland, Morgan, Alex. Ross and G. H. Stiles. Mr R. Moore was appointed solicitor and Mr P. H. Rae-Howard secretary. It was reslolved that the Secretary’s office be the registered office of the society. It was resolved that the solicitor take the necessary steps to register the society, and that the directors submit the rules to a general meeting. It was decided that a meeting of directors be held next Friday evening. Votes of thanks to the Chairman and to Mr Perreau for the use of rooms, concluded the meeting.
