Robinson £6 6s rod, costs Bs, solicitor’s fee 15s 6d ; Mr Moore represented the above. J. N. Thomson v. Renata and Hamara £3 3s 6d, costs ss, mileage 10s, translation fee 2s6d; F. G. Rout v. H. Currie £g 2s, costs Bs, solicitor’s fee 15s 6d. Mr Keade for the {Plaintiffs. Judgment summons—Osborne v. Baker and Harvie (Mr Moore) £3 14s, order for £1 per month in default three days imprisonment; A, W. Bradley v. A. Lee £3 4s (Mr Reade), order to be paid forthwith in default three days. Summary cases;—C. Jesson v. H. Andreasen, charge of obscene and insulting language. Mr Moore for complainant, Mr Reade for defendant. This case had been partly heard last Court day and adjourned. After a somewhat lengthy hearing His Worship held that it was the usual case where neighbours quarrelled over small trifles. Reviewing the evidence at length, he held that Mrs Ruback’s was one that seemed to him most reliable 1 Defendant would be convicted and ordered to pay Court costs ns, two witnesses 10s, solicitor’s fee 21s. Police v. Chung Wah, breach of Borough by-laws for driving without lights between sunset and sunrise. Mr Keade for defendant. Fined 5s and costs ys. Same v, F. Rout, similar charges, no appearance, fined 5s and costs ys. Same v. Samuel Reade, riding a bicycle on footpath, no appearance, fined ss, costs ys.
