TRIAL OF HARRY THAW.
New York, February 6
In the trial of Harry Thaw for the murder of Stanford White, the prisoner’s first medical witness was severely cross-examined regarding his meical knowledge and experience. Other witnesses were called to support the plea of hereditary insanity. The Judge provisionally sustained the contention of Mr Jerome, counsel for the prosecution, that the evidence was irrelevant.
