WRESTLING.
To-night, in the Public Hall, Harry Pearce, the champion wrestler of Australia, has undertaken to throw Constable Dickson within a space of 15 minutes. The stage will be well covered with sawdust and a great feat should be witnessed. Dickson has proved his worth as a Cumberland wrestler and in Pearce he will find a foeman worthy of his steel. Pearce is very tricky and well versed in almost every part of the game. Dickson, on the other hand, loves to come to close quarters, and Pearce will have all his work before him to down this limb of the law if he once takes a holt.” Another attraction is the exhibition by the Fire King. As half the proceeds are to go to the local Band it is to be hoped there will be a large attendance. Admission will be 2s and is.
