Quoits.
It is pleasing to note that as Foxton progresses this Ipleasant out* door game has been added to the list. Last Saturday a friendly match was played between the Foxton Quoit Club and the Foxton Working Men’s Quoit Club bn the ground of the latter in weather most desirable. Only 3 out of 5 of the first named appeared, consequently the brunt fell upon their two veterans who more than held their own, the result .being in favour of the F.Q.C. by 34 points. It is to be hoped that this is only the commencement of a number of games and that it will maintain its position with the public. Appended are the scores Doubts.
