STEELE-PAYNE BELLRINGERS.

The Steele-Payne combination of vocalist entertainers and bellringers appear at the Public Hall, Foxton on Tuesday next, November 20th, and should certainly attract a crowded attendance as usual. Since their last appearance here nearly two years ago they have toured nearly the whole of Australia with their usual success and have lately completed a most successful season in Wellington, where the press were highly eulogistic in its praise of each member of the company, which is now thet strongest and most talented ye brought to New Zealand-. The company still comprise Mr and Mrs Ralph Steele (Miss Lizzie Payne), Mr Jas. Williams, the favourite basso, and MrT. ElstonWhidburn, baritone, raconteur and monologue entertainer all of whom are too well-known to a Foxton audience to need further comment. Miss Lorraine Tansiey, the gifted contralto vocalist, is also wellknown as a capable, and pleasing artist, who whilst with this combination in Australia received high praise from the entire Australian press, will also make her appearance. Miss Alice Appleby a pleasing balladist and talented instrumentalist will make her first appearance, and should evidently become a firm favourite.
