TENNIS.
At a Committee meeting of the Lawn Tennis Club held yesterday afternoon it was decided to enter a team for the Cup Tournament held under the auspices of the Wellington Provincial Lawn Tennis Association. This tournament is divided into centres, narae’y Wanganui, Palmerston and Masterton. In the Palmerston centre matches will be played at Fielding, Palmerston, Foxlon and Otaki, the winners in „these centres playing the winners ot the other centres, and the ultimate winner playing against the Champion Club in Wellington, with the result the cup will be held by the winning Club for twelve months.
