FOXTON ATHLETIC CLUB.

A meeting of the committee of the Foxton Athletic Club was held in Mr Haywood’s Hotel last evening, (Present —Messrs Shadbolt (chair), Healey, Lawton, Sutherland, Jillett, Thompson, Baker, Hadfield, Martin, Howe, Perreau, Frew, and the Secretary. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and condoned.

It was decided that the time for receiving entries for the two local events be extended until Wednesday evening.

It was also decided that the train time table be not advertised in the Rangitikei Advocate. The Secretary was instructed to apply for extra police protection at sports.

Votes of thanks to the chair and to Mr Haywood for the use of the room concluded the meeting.
