The invites the citizens to observe Friday next, People’s Day at the Palmerston Show, as a public holiday. A furnished bed-sitting room, with board is advertised for. Apply this office, Mr K. P. Osborne returns-thanks elsewhere to all who sent sympathetic messages and wreaths during his recent sad bereavement. His absence in Wellington prevented an earlier acknowledgment. We direct attention to the list of attractions aclveitised in connection with the forthcoming Girls Guild Bazaar. We give a final reminder of Mounsey’s first monthly matt sale at Mr G. Colev’s sheds on Monday next, commencing at r o’clock. Entries should be placed in the hands of Sutherland and Rough immediately.
