LABOUR DAY.
Rabour Day passed off quietly in Foxton yesterday. All the business people closed their premises for the day. In the afternoon the local Tennis Club opened the season, and a football match was played on the racecourse between the Albion and Sandon Clubs, A local team of cricketers journeyed to Moutoa and spent an enjoyable time, A number of sports journeyed to Otaki to attend the races there. The weather was ideal for holiday makers.
