TAYLOR-CARRINGTON CO.

The Taylor-Carrington Dramatic Company played their successful Irish drama “ Evicted ” to a large audience in the Town Hall on' Tuesday night. The play in itself was a very interesting and appreciable one, and the characters sustained were all carried out to perfection. The many exciting incidents throughout the play and the very realistic scenic effects kept ■ the audience’s attention riveted!; ' while the songs introduced by the ; different characters are also de--1 serving of note. A notable feature I of the play was its inexhaustible ! supply of Irish wit and humour, which had an uproarious effect on the audience. The company will revisit Foxton in about three weeks’ time when they will stage an entirely new production entitled ‘‘Rondon Rife.”
