At the annual meeting of the above at Marton on Thursday, Constable Whitehouse reported that the accommodation at the Manawatu Hotel, Foxton wr- :; quite inadequate, and eigtu -w-w bed ••ooms, at least, were required. These could easily be erected over 'lie diningroom. These auditions annual meeting, but were held over owing to the proximity otthe local option poll. Similar recommendations in regard jto the accommodation at the Family Hotel, were also made. It was decided that additional accommodation, as recommended, be provided. The application for license at Criterion Hotel, Bulls, was refused, as also was the wholesale license at Rongotea,
