At sittings of above Court, Maria Harris, found guilty of the manslaughter of Frederick Murfitt, was sentenced to five years hard labour.
For breaches of the Bankruptcy Act,. Alex. McDonald was acquitted. The charge of murder against Win. Knowles is proceeding.
