The Daily Telegraph states the Admiralty and War Office stipulate that in future the contracts for tinned meats shall only-be- a«x ceptcd from the British colonies. The American packers fear this action will result in a policy of Imperial preference. Many sanitary reforms have already been introduced in the Chicago packing houses.
