Postal Conference.

Rome, April 23. The Postal Congress has granted a vote each to the Commonwealth, New Zealand, the Transvaal, and Orangia. The majority of the delegates to thelPostal Conference favour holding the next Congress in 1911 in some Australian city. Sir Joseph Ward and Mr Chapman inspected the Marconi station.

The American and German Companies have invited them to visit their installations.

The Australian proposal respecting ‘ ‘ Snowball ’ ’ letters and lotteries will be discussed by the Conference this week.
