S. Mason. Convicted and fined 40s, solicitor 21S, witness’s 265, also ordered to return £1 to Pigott. F. Davis, J. Wilks, J. Dentnead, and L. Mead were convicted and discharged on paying exes, * for theft of fruit at T. Nye’s orchard. For drunkenness, F. Mitchell was fined ss, costs 7s. For having liquor in his possession whilst prohibited, F. Coyle was fined 20s, costs 14a 6d. For disorderly behaviour, A. Drummond was -fined ss, costs 7s ; W. Harper, fined ios, costs 9s 6d ; J. Harper, fined 10s, costsgsfid. • The case of Police v. Agnes Santon, that she did steal onhandkerchief (value is 6d) and £\ note, the property of Annie Levett, was adjourned to nth April. Other charges against different persons were either nonsuited or dismissed.
