The Ibson Family.
Following are a few press comments relative to the above family, who are billed to appear in the Town Hall, Foxton, on Thursday, January 18th:— The Ibson Family discoursed most charming music from any variety of instruments. Anything from which it is possible to produce agreeable sounds becomes tuneful when placed in their hands. To them the piano, violin, mandoline, saxaphone, clarionet, flute, piccolo, xylophone, banjos are alike responsive and their skilful fingers seem to find no difficulties that are not easily surmountable. They produce a delightful' harmonies without the display of any effect. Miss Beryl Dytton, a soprano soloist, sang with great success.—Evening Post. The Ibson Family of musicians fully sustain their good reputation after appearing xi weeks at Wellington.—Exchange. The Ibson Family of two brothers and two sisters produced music from many kinds of instruments. Among them were the flute, piccolo, mandoline, and saxaphone. After many recalls the audience reluctantly permitted them to give way for the next item.—N.Z. Times.
