Foxton Racing Club.
A meeting of the Fox ton Racing Club committee was held at their rooms last evening, there being present—Messrs Barber (chair), Gray, Hunt, 0. Robinson, C. Robinson, H. Thynne, A. Shadbolt, A. Baing, and secretary. The minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed.
Proposed by Mr Hunt, seconded by Mr Shadbolt, That programme be inserted in the Wairarapa Age. Carried.
The course committee reported that the works being carried out on the course were just about completed, aud that Messrs Arnott and Sons be paid a progress payment of and that Mr Amott be asked to come down and attend to one or two small matters.
Proposed by Mr Laing, seconded by Mr Shadbolt, That Mr Thompson be elected a member of the Club. Carried.
Proposed by Mr Hunt, seconded by Mr Taing, That Railway arrangements for coming race meeting be left in the hands of the secretary.
