—« A special general meeting of members of the Racing Club was held last evening. 'There wa = a fair attendance (Mr Gray in the chahA. The mi mites of the previous meeting were rvad and confirmed. The sub committee reported (dial thev had been promised the amount required for improvements for two vears.— After discussion it was r.-solved (hat the committee 'meet in the morning and make final arrangements, and also visit the course and decide on the position of the , buildings.—The committee inspected the site this morning.
